Same
nose art in 90th BG; 42-40505 probably served there after nose turret
fitted. Also known to have been with
43rd BG and to combat crew replacement and training center.

The first 90th Bomb Group history, produced during the war and
recently republished, shows a set of nose arts on both the front and back
flyleafs (both the same). Prominent
among them is that for MR FIVE BY FIVE. (The
vertical lines on the above picture are due to the binding of the book.)
