NEWSLETTER #12 -- August 2002 |
Compatriots and Friends,
Everything is "go" for the Salt Lake City Reunion. Pat has done a marvelous job in making our arrangements. The hotel is beautiful and the tours should be enjoyable and memorable. Many of you are already registered and we hope many more of you will choose to come.
As noted elsewhere herein, the major topic of our Business Meeting on Saturday morning will be a selection of sites for our next several reunions. As you know, we have already listed Boston, MA, area; Las Vegas, NV; Louisville, KY, New Orleans, LA; and St. Louis, MO, as potential sites. Other candidates can also be proposed before the vote is taken. We look forward to a spirited but gentlemanly discussion.
I want to especially thank Andrew Martinez for providing the A-2 Jacket to chances at this reunion. He will decorate it for the winner's squadron and aircraft, etc., as the winner wishes. Proceeds go to the History Project. Buy lots of tickets!
Again, we look forward to seeing you all at Salt Lake City on September 18-22nd.
To preserve the memory of the 380th.
Sincerely,
Theodore J. (Ted) Williams
