380th Bomb Group Association |
NEWSLETTER #3 -- June 2000 |
Compatriots and Friends,
Things are progressing very well
for our 2000 Reunion in San Antonio on November 8-12th. If you haven't already made your
reservations, please do so soon since they appear to be going very fast. We have finalized the program and costs as
noted herein.
As I am sure you have already
noticed, we have arranged our program this year to be a military remembrance
reunion, something we have gotten away from somewhat in recent years. We hope that this is the kind of program you
want.
This is our opportunity to meet
again with old friends of long standing; to tell wild stories which get better
over the years; to remember all of our buddies who have gone; and to wipe away
a tear or two from our eyes as old soldiers are often wont to do.
We look forward eagerly to
seeing you all again in San Antonio in November.
As always, please be sure to
send me your address changes, Taps, and other pertinent Society news to be
published in these quarterly newsletters.
To preserve the memory of the
380th.
Sincerely,
Theodore J. (Ted) Williams
