I have been wanting to ask you this question for some time but have never managed to get off dead center to ask it. Better late than never.

I believe it was sometime in the late 1980s the 380th Group did a tour to Australia including visiting many of the WWII 380th sites as well. Is there any likilihood that a similar trip might happen again?

I'm sure such a trip would be a gratifying experience for many of us.

Thanks!

Johnny

I don't know of the likelihood of such a trip in the future - it has not been discussed - and if it did, it would probably be the "associate" members of the group who would be able to make it, based on the age of the vets themselves.

I would love to make such a trip myself, and it is on my "bucket list" - I will bring it up for a topic of discussion in one of our upcoming newsletters.

Anyone interested in going to Australia sometime in the next couple of years to visit the 380th's WWII location and visit our RAAF friends living there? If so, please let me (Barb Gotham) know!!!
