WASHINGTON DC REUNION - 2006

Ted and Isabel Williams received a special gift in honor of their 60th anniversary (July 18, 2006). Their good friend (and Ted’s crewmate on the Magee Crew), Joe Wells, arranged to have a U.S. flag flown over the U.S. Capitol on their anniversary. They were presented with this flag and a plaque during the Banquet at this year’s Reunion, on October 15, 2006. Congratulations, Ted and Isabel, on 60 wonderful years of marriage!
The inscription on the plaque reads:

This is to certify that the accompanying flag was flown over
the
United States Capitol
on July 18, 2006,
at the request of the Honorable Deborah Pryce, Member of Congress.
This flag was flown in recognition of Isabel and Ted Williams’ 60th wedding anniversary.
