Branson, Missouri, known as the "Live Entertainment Capital of the World," is where everyone can sing along as superbly talented entertainers perform country, pop, rock, gospel, swing, and show tunes. But the fun doesn't stop there, comedians, magicians and specialty acts lend a wide diversity to the entertainment offerings here in Branson, Missouri. Colorful costumes, vibrant lighting, talented performers and a stage full of smiles await guests at all shows!

The Grand Plaza Hotel is located in the heart of the Branson just off the world famous Highway 76 Country Boulevard. Within walking distance to some of Branson's biggest stars, as well as some of the greatest outlet shopping.

  1. Because there is a 10% charge for online group reservations, you will be unable to make lodging reservations by that method to get the group rates listed below.

Standard queen:  $87.00 plus 11.6% room tax
      2 queen beds, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board

King mini suite:  $97.00 plus 11.6% room tax
      1 bedroom w/king bed, and parlor with sleeper loveseat (folds out to twin size), mini fridge, microwave

King feature: $117.00 plus 11.6% room tax
      1 king bed, 2-person Jacuzzi, mini fridge, microwave

Family suite: $147.00 plus 11.6% room tax
      2 bedrooms each with king beds, 2 baths, mini fridge, MW

Executive suite/honeymoon suite:  $147.00 plus 11.6% room tax
      1 bedroom w/king bed, parlor, whirlpool, mini fridge, MW

Same rates apply 3 days prior and 3 days after our event (10/31 - 11/9)

Barb Gotham found it easier, though, to call the Grand Plaza and talk to them in person, 1-800-850-6646.  If you are registered at the hotel, you can charge your tickets to your room and pay when you check out.  They will then have vouchers at the front desk for you to pick for each show you order.

12:30 PM - Return to hotel - lunch on own

Welcome Supper Show at the Circle B Chuckwagon                                                                      Pre-registration required

4:15 PM - Popcorn and watch Old B/W western movies

5:00-5:45 PM - Supper & watch old B/W movie.  (Seconds are served!)

5:45-7:00 PM - Live Stage Show begins.  Old-time cowboy show tunes, once sung by Roy Rogers and Gene Autry, as well as pre-and post-Civil War music performed on dulcimer, banjo, fiddle, bass fiddle, rollicking humor and comedy!   

No transport            Since the Circle B is next door to the Grand Plaza Hotel, no bus transportation is being provided.  However, if you need a ride, let us know so one of us with a vehicle can drive you there and back!

 

Friday, November 5 -

FLYING TO BRANSON

Branson Airport is 10 miles south of the Branson Strip. There are auto-rental services on-site, as well as taxi and shuttle service into Branson. AirTran Airways, Frontier Airlines, Sun Country Airlines are providing flights to Branson from Atlanta, Denver and Minneapolis-St. Paul, hubs that connect Branson with most major U.S. cities. There also are non-stop regional flights to a number of destinations, including Orlando, Florida.

Springfield-Branson National Airport opened its new terminal in 2009. Accessibility has been improved as well: flyers can walk from their car to their airplane without climbing a single stair. Allegiant Air and American Airlines are among the carriers providing low-cost flights to the airport. Springfield-Branson National Airport is roughly 50 miles north of Branson.

 

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

The hotel has no shuttle service. You can rent a car at either airport, or there is shuttle, limo, and taxi service to Branson. It is suggested that you make reservations in advance for transport to the hotel.

Branson Coach/Tri Lakes Shuttle services the Springfield airport. Round trip for 1-2 people is approximately $160. They do not pick up at the Branson Airport, although they can drop you off there (1-2 people drop off is $20).  417-339-4888

Branson Grayline Shuttle provides exclusive service from the Branson Airport is $27 one way for 1-2 people, and $10 for reach additional person. It is approximately $47 round trip (1-2 people), with $10 for each additional person. Contact numbers:  1-800-237-4466, 417-335-4466 (local)
